Sue Greenwood BVSC BA MA MRCVS

Sue has been a practising vet for over 30 years.  She began her education with a degree in Biology at Oxford, then worked for a few years for Cancer Research and also as a shepherdess and cheese-maker on a sheep-milking farm!

Her love of animals took her to pursue a career in veterinary science;  she qualified from Bristol Veterinary School in 1994 and started work with farm and small animals in South Leicestershire. After starting a family Sue became a small animal locum and has since worked in many local practices. She is now based mostly in Daventry and Towcester performing a mixture of medicine, surgery and export certification.

At home she has 3 lovely rescue cats, 3 lovely pet sheep and 3 lovely daughters (now grown up left home… most of the time).  Her favourite hobbies are cross country and fell running and hill walking.  She also loves socialising, film, theatre, travel, plant-based cooking and eating.

In her own words “I love my work and workplace – what a privileged position to be in!”
