We have used Daventry Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years and have always received the highest level of care and professionalism. The staff always take the time to get to personally know our pets, who as a result are always happy to visit even when experiencing some quite trying issues. Personally, I find Sarah’s diagnostic skills to be excellent with a great knowledge of breeds and related issues. Our current Pet has very complex health issues which were quickly identified and treated resulting in a speedy improvement to her quality of life. On a final note, one of our previous dogs had to have an emergency operation and Sarah brought her own dog in from home for an emergency blood transfusion: above and beyond the call of duty and we will be forever grateful. Highly recommended.

We have been with Sarah and the team since they opened in 2001 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Four dogs and one cat have lived long and happy lives with the support, kindness, and professionalism of the entire team. All of them enjoy visiting even to collect medications especially for the treat afterwards! Age brought some long-term health issues and referrals such as diabetes & associated eye problems, heart murmur, arthritis, and pancreatitis. The team taught me to manage these conditions at home with regular check-ups/support as needed. Their care and concern when the time comes to say goodbye is truly appreciated especially for me! They have also formed a close bond with my pets and I have received some lovely condolence messages. From the cradle to the grave, it’s reassuring to know my pets are in excellent, caring hands. Thank you guys for everything.

Veterinary surgery that wear their hearts on their sleeves. You’ll always be given the very best care and advice, and you know that your pet is in the very best hands. Genuinely the very best surgery I’ve ever taken my dogs. They went above and beyond when my eldest dog became extremely ill, for which I can never thank them enough.

We have been taking our dogs and cats to Daventry Veterinary Clinic for over 4 years. From the moment of transferring their care and treatment from another local practice to Sarah and the team we have experienced nothing short of first-class treatment/care. All the team are friendly and professional and clearly care about all their clients (furry and human) and do everything possible to put them at their ease. One of our Spaniels has had two life threatening conditions as well as chronic ear problems and all the vets have been excellent throughout. Sarah has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure we are always fully informed about his conditions, treatment options and treatment plan to the extent she calls out of hours including on Sundays. Sadly we recently had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our girl and the support and sensitivity from the team was invaluable. Sue in particular, was fantastic, sensitive and reassuring about making this decision and giving us the time we needed on the day to say goodbye and stay as long we felt we needed which was invaluable. Debs and the Steel family and pets
Sarah and her team have looked after our families’ pets for many years. During this time my children have grown to adults, with pets of their own and they both, also use Daventry Veterinary Clinic. They are extremely loving and caring towards all of our pets, be it rabbits, cats or dogs - their advice is always genuine and in the best interest of the pet. From booster jabs, check-ups and operations to the call out for one of my dogs last appointments, they have always been supportive and helpful. For complex (heart scans/cruciate ligament) cases they have arranged for specialists to see our pets at the clinic to save journeys and stress to our pets. The vet nurses are kind and caring, giving excellent advice, especially how to keep a bandage on a tail. Last but not least, the lovely Mel on reception, always with a smile, doing her best to please everyone and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for supporting us and our pets for all these years.

We have been visiting Daventry Vets for approx. 16yrs now. All the team are remarkable for their kindness to all animals and their owners. Over the years our cats have had their problems, but the staff have been wonderful in their duty of care from reception to nurses to vets. Arthur our current cat has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and Sarah has gone over and above board to make sure we know all about the condition. She has liaised with a cardiologist and Arthur is now on the appropriate medication. Under continued care we hope to have Arthur for a long time. Many thanks to all the team.

I have had my pets with Daventry Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years and they have been wonderful, and I cannot recommend them enough. The team are amazing, friendly and supportive. They have been there for the routine checks etc. and have also seen us through the worst of times when we had to say goodbye to our family dog with being compassionate and caring during this really difficult time.
