Claire Stanley RVN

Claire started her training in 1997 at Moreton Morrell College, Warwickshire and qualified in 1999. She has always worked in small animal practice and came to work at Daventry Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Claire enjoys all the varied aspects of veterinary nursing and it will usually be Claire who completes your insurance claim forms.

Claire is married with two children, a staffie called Misty, a cat called Sweets and various small pets complete the household. When not working or taking the children to their many activities Claire likes running, cycling and swimming.

Paula Hallin RVN

Paula began Veterinary Nursing in 1990 at a large mixed practice in Aylesbury, and studied at Berkshire College of Agriculture. After working in small animal and equine practices for several years , Paula moved to Northamptonshire and joined Daventry Veterinary Clinic when it first opened in August 2001. She enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Nursing , particularly nurse clinics and meeting patients and their owners at reception. Paula is married and has a teenage son. When not working Paula is busy with her horse called Bramble, and at home she has an Irish terrier called Salty, Zorro an ex feral cat and 2 ferrets.

Kathryn Fell RVN

Kathryn started training in Henley on Thames in 1992 and  qualified in 1999 whilst working in Twickenham. She has worked in both mixed and small animal practice, preferring small animal work. Kathryn moved to Daventry in 2011 to be closer to her three nephews. In her spare time she enjoys various forms of exercise including cycling. After 26 years in practice she still can’t get enough of puppies and has developed a keen interest in canine behaviour. Kathryn currently has no pets after her JRT Gypsy died.


Laura Mainwaring RVN

Laura is a newly qualified RVN who completed her Veterinary Nursing Diploma in October 2018 at Reaseheath college. She is originally from Shropshire and only recently joined Daventry Veterinary Clinic. Laura enjoys all aspects of nursing and has a particular interest in nurse clinics, in-patient care and dentistry. At home Laura lives with husband Luke and their 2 dogs, Dora who is a large crossbreed and Holly a cocker spaniel. In her spare time she enjoys walking in the countryside, baking and reading.
