Daventry Veterinary Clinic has two X-ray machines:
- a standard machine
- a specialised dental X-ray machine
Very small films are used for dental radiography and it is especially useful for looking at the roots of teeth.
Ultrasound can be used to investigate many conditions. One of the advantages of ultrasound scanning is that it is non-invasive and can usually be carried out without sedation or anaesthesia. Daventry Veterinary Clinic can currently offer ultrasound examinations approximately once a month via our visiting ultrasonographer, Dr Serena Brownlie MRCVS, who has many years of experience in this field and has further qualifications in Veterinary Cardiology.
